Project Overview
A private developer, working with several builders in the Ashland, Virginia area on a major housing subdivision, experienced difficulty in securing water resources on individual lots. Typically, 2-3 wells were being drilled, with water yields of less than 1 gallon/minute. Hydrofracking of the wells did not increase yield. Bennett & Williams, Inc. was able to successfully complete fracture trace analyses for the lots, with well yields between 10-25 gallons/minute.
