Project Overview
Recent development in in the vicinity of the City of Colonial Heights closed landfill facilities has necessitated special consideration be given to the possible impacts of methane gas emanating from decomposing material. Bennett & Williams, Inc. worked with the developer to design a methane gas monitoring network within the structure, a Methane Monitoring Plan for the operational component of the business, and an Emergency Operations Plan in the event that explosive concentrations of methane posed a risk to human health and safety.
