Project Overview
For more than 30 years, Bennett & Williams, Inc. has served the City of Colonial Heights in an environmental consulting capacity. The City’s solid waste municipal landfill facilities operated from the 1940s through the 1970s. Over time, Bennett & Williams, Inc. has assisted the City with Detection Monitoring, Assessment Monitoring, Closure, and Post-Closure Care. Geologic and engineering design services have encompassed groundwater and methane monitoring, methane gas mitigation, soil vapor studies, assessment of geophysical data, design of a methane extraction trench, statistical analysis of data, and assisting the City with all aspects of Solid Waste regulatory compliance.
